Melillo's method: Brain training in a family setting (Trein selebro di bo yu)

The Melillo Method is an approach based on functional neurology to treating neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities that was developed by Dr. Robert Melillo, a chiropractic neurologist and researcher in the field of functional neurology. The Melillo Method is based on the idea that neurodevelopmental disorders are caused by imbalances in the brain's hemispheres.The method involves a combination of exercises and activities that are designed to stimulate the brain and restore these imbalances.

This training is designed for parents with a child with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), learning difficulties or ADHD (Attention deficit disorder)

Payment is 400 guilders for all 4 days and for both parents of the same child. Having both parents with the same knowledge will greatly increase the execution of the exercises. The success of this program is based on doing the exercises in a repetitive manner.

Teachers, Occupational therapist, Speech therapist, Psychologist, Social workers and other disciplines involved with children with neurodevelopment difficulties are highly welcome. Additional information will be provided to specialists.

You will learn:

You will learn about the basic function of the brain in development, the primitive reflexes, muscle tone and what happens when there is a disconnected brain.

Learn to observe postures, moving patterns or interpret conduct to understand what might be going on in the brain.

June 28 2023

You will learn about the neurological examination, about exercises to inhibit primitive reflexes, augment muscle tone, balance and eye training.

June 29 2023

We will talk about the role of the inmune system (allergies) on the brain. Digestive system, diets, and behaviour.

June 30 2023

Putting it all together, How parenting style can influence. Some top down games that are interesting. We will talk about "gadgets" to train the brain. You will know how to use your daily life to integrate it all.

Understand how understanding the brain function will help not only your child but your whole family.
